The Heritage opened its doors in June 2005 and offers a sophisticated elegance with impeccable hospitality set in the pastoral Laois Countryside. This Property includes a World Class Hotel, an Award Winning Spa, Blake's, Seven and The Galleria serving Afternoon Tea to choose from. The Heritage also offers guests a number of onsite activities such as our Health Club with Leisure Pool, The Heritage Spa Experience (Thermal Suite) Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam rooms, Tennis Court, 5 km Walking Track, Cinema and for our younger guests, a state of the art outdoor Playground. The Heritage Hotel & Spa
The Heritage Resort is home to Ireland’s only Seve Ballesteros-designed championship course. The Heritage has been welcoming a wide-ranging mix of golfers from around the world for over 15 years. Situated in the heart of Killenard the course has been exquisitely designed by the ever famous Golf legend Seve Ballesteros. To make a trip of it The Heritage has created a collection of fantastic golf offers and packages, carefully designed to give you the best possible golfing getaway.
The Heritage Spa
The Heritage Spa Experience is based on the ancient ritual of bathing, where the body is heated and then cooled by a series of heat and cooling experiences. Our extensive thermal suite area guides your body through a sensory journey with the ultimate aim of inducing deep relaxation.
Cool off in between each heat experience by using the ice fountains and gently apply crushed ice to the skin to counteract the warming effects of the heat. You can also use the cold experience showers to cool your body in between heat experiences.
Remember to drink lots of water to re-hydrate your body throughout the experience.
The Eddie Doyle Golf Academy
With the academy right at the heart of the resort, it offers a convenient place to practice once you arrive or just before you go out on the course. Our resident professional, Eddie Doyle will be happy to welcome you and your group upon arrival and provides individual lessons, group lessons and clinics if needs be to insure you play your best. Eddie has all of the latest teaching aids and a customized indoor swing room featuring high tech video technology which you will have access to as part of any lesson or golf clinic.
6 month or yearly membership packages gives you access to all the academy facilities including short game chipping, bunker, practice green and outdoor and under cover range areas. Packages include an unlimited number of range balls.
